On
Friday, July 2, 1999, the Class of
1969 hosted the first All-Classes Reunion
Party at Murphy's Party Barn. (That seems
like a loooong time ago, doesn't it?) We
were entertained by "British Invasion,"
a great band know for performances up at
Put-in-Bay. Schmidt's, of course, provided
the Bahama Mamas, dogs and beer.
The
CRO tradition was revived as guys and
gals bought new, freshly-made CRO shirts.
Brad Frick, Harvey Ford, and others
who are even older than we are wore their
ORIGINAL CRO shirts, which ... by the
way ... they wore very well!! Thanks to
Tom O'Shaughnessy and John Winkel
for organizing this event.

A large group of UA69-ers headed out to
play golf between parties. Winners were:
Pat and Linda Caldwell, Ken Pfeifer,
and Phil Weiser.
On
Saturday, July 3, 1999, the class
had the main party at Riviera Country
Club. As you can see from the pictures,
everyone had a great time, reuniting
with old friends and making new ones.
Digital
cameras have come a long way - I apologize
for the poor quality of most of these
photos!

Dave Cooper, Gordon Mitchell, Ken Pfeifer,
and others headed up the project of building
the Class Float at Jim Long's house. There
will be no flatbed with bales of hay for
the Class of 1969! Our Float Committee
is the best!

On
July 4, we gathered at Kingsdale
to climb onto the float and make the
parade ride down Northwest Boulevard
and then went to the Alumni Association
Block Party afterward.
We
all humbly agreed that our float was
the best-designed class reunion float
in the parade.
